The Christmas Market in Trier was opened in 1978 and from that year one it is a big happening on the place in front of the famous Dome of Trier. It starts on November 27 and ends December 23.
Shopping: Nicely decorated wooden cottages show Christmas ornaments, wooden toys, candles, glasses, gifts, ceramik and much more.

Every year a German Glühweinkönigin (Mulled wine queen) will be crowned, and there is a lot of entertainment too such as puppet show, music, singing and performing.
