German Beer Recipes – Cooking with Beer

The Germans drink beer not only on a hot summer’s day, ice cold in the shade of a Biergarten. Beer can be warmed and then it is the drink for a cold winter’s night. In our German beer recipes the beer will be enjoyed warm, and it is blended with spices, milk and eggs. Some say it is helping when suffering with a flue; some say it is just a tradition. There is a saying in Germany: When you are in a restaurant and get warm beer and cold food, this would equal poor service,  – nevertheless warm beer can be a remedy! Happy Cooking!
