German Nutella Cookies – Easy to Make

The German Nutella cookies are so easy to make, even children can bake them. Main ingredient is Nuteall, a soft and creamy hazelnut spread from Ferrero. It’s on the market a long time and they even opened an Nutella Store in Chicago just recently. Happy Baking!


Ingredients German Nutella Cookies

(for about 20 cookies)
100 g soft butter
50 g sugar
200 g Nutella or any other hazelnut spread cream
1 egg
300 g flour
1 package vanilla sugar, 0.3 oz – How to make Vanilla Sugar –
0.2 oz baking powder (1/2 package of Dr Oetker baking powder)
1 dash salt

Baking Instructions German Nutella Cookies

  • Beat soft butter with sugar and Nutella until it’s creamy.
  • Add egg, mix well.
  • Mix flour with baking powder and salt, add to dough.
  • Use kneading hooks to mix the dough.
  • Place on a baking board and separate dough in 2 parts.
  • Form rolls, wrap in foil, let sit in the fridge for 2 hours.
  • Cut thin slices and place them on a baking tray layered with parchment paper.
  • Bake for 10-15 min on 180 C or 350 F. Baking time may vary depending on the thickness of the cookies.

Tip:
If you have a stamp, use it on the cookies.
