Ingredients German Red Beet Apple Salad

1 raw red beet
1 apple
salt, pepper to taste
1 tsp sour cream
1 tbsp vinegar and 2 tbsp sunflower or olive oil
Optional: add some grated raw horseradish, 1 hand full of chopped walnuts

Cooking Instructions Red Beet Apple Salad

– Recommended: Wear gloves when handling the red beet.
– Peel red beet, cut ins very small cubes.
– You can peel the apple or not. Remove core and cut in very small cubes.
– Combine apples with red beet and mix well.
– Add salt, pepper, vinegar, and oil, also walnuts or horseradish if you like, then the sour cream. Mix well.
